ASMRs → earnings
Workers and money in Steal An ASMR
After hatching an ASMR, take the Worker step to set up earnings. Workers connect your collectibles to the money progression.
Find and hire a Worker
- Follow Buy Worker! when the tutorial presents it. At 01:16.659 its arrow points toward the red Shop icon; at 02:54.189 the player heads toward a red-and-white market stand.
- Open the Workers offer at that stand. At 02:59.189 the panel shows 1/4 Workers, a +1 Worker button and a $1K next ordinary hire.
- Read your current count and cash price, then choose the ordinary +1 Worker offer if that is the hire you want and your cash covers it. The video price belongs to the next hire with 1 Worker already shown; it does not establish the first hire's cost.
- Continue the game's purchase/confirmation prompt. Look for the owned Worker/count change. A Worker figure appears in the recorded hotbar at 02:59; later footage shows Worker figures at the base.
- Return to your plot. If the owned Worker is in your hotbar, select it and follow the action/placement prompt now shown at your base. Check the visible Worker figure/count and earning behavior rather than assuming the shop click completed every step.
If the expected result is missing, re-check the current cash requirement, Worker count and whether your owned Worker is selected/placed according to the present prompt. These checks separate the observed stages; they are not an exhaustive error diagnosis. Do not buy a Robux offer just because the normal setup is unclear.
Source note: The shop frame shows an offer, not a completed purchase transaction. Worker continuation is inferred from the owned hotbar figure and later base figures; no placement key or slot rule was captured.
Worker stand at 2:54
Find the red-and-white stand and inspect the next $1K offer at 1/4 Workers. The chapters also show the tutorial arrow and later base figures. Footage by gaming with kota; inspected 24 September 2026.
Ordinary Workers and Power Workers use different offers
The following is the 2:59.189 footage state, inspected 24 September 2026. Check today's in-game offer before spending.
| Offer shown | Cost shown | Meaning and limit |
|---|---|---|
| +1 ordinary Worker | $1K game cash | Next hire while the panel reads 1/4 Workers; not a first-Worker price or full price curve |
| +1 Power Worker | 29 Robux | One paid Worker offer in this footage |
| +3 Power Worker | 79 Robux | Three paid Workers in this footage |
The shop says Power Workers make ×2 money. That is the offer's wording; the footage does not establish stacking, per-second rates or interaction with the separate X2 Cash pass. Compare game passes and their listed prices to keep these purchases separate. 1/4 is the displayed Worker count/capacity state, not an income multiplier.
Cash example: if your own current ordinary offer also says $1K and you have $399, you are $601 short: 1,000 − 399 = 601. If you have $1,000, that one displayed cost is covered exactly, leaving $0 after paying it. These are worked budgets, not a claim about how quickly you earn the shortfall. If your next price differs, use that displayed price rather than this screenshot's $1K.
Quantity example: at the recorded offers, three separate 29 Robux Workers cost 87 Robux. The three-Worker bundle costs 79 Robux, a difference of 8 Robux. This assumes the offers grant the same kind of Power Worker and that you actually want all three. If you need only one, 29 Robux is the smaller total purchase; 79 Robux is not automatically the sensible spend. These calculations compare listed offers, not a purchase recommendation or current-price guarantee.
Read an upgrade board without inventing a curve
At 1:16.659 an unnamed Common item shows a 4$ label beside an upgrade board reading Lvl 8 → 9 and $17. This is an example of a level transition and cash price. The item name is obscured, so do not assign this $17 cost to Wooden Keyboard or Lime Wrap, the first upgrade, or every future level. The 4$ label still lacks a visible time unit.
For your own upgrade, read the exact current → next level and price together. If it is an item-level board, do not mistake it for the treadmill's Speed upgrade or a new Worker. The developer separately describes growing the base and upgrading the treadmill. Once your income step is operating and movement is your constraint, continue to Speed and upgrades.
Next: train Speed when movement becomes the constraint →
